My coaching honors a person's experience of trauma but places a higher value on who they are presently while exploring ways to enhance choices of strength and decrease retraumatization. Trauma Recovery + Resilience Coaching works through a "body first" approach to healing the release of trauma with movement and reflection homework. Without diagnosis or stigma, belief systems and behaviors due to trauma/abuse are addressed through validation, awareness, psychoeducation, effective self-regulation tools and practice with skill building.


The purpose of the coaching time is to empower people to understand what is happening physically, emotionally and mentally with behaviors, assess desired change, and how to move forward in a different way.

Recovery + Resilience coaching creates and strengthens patterns of self-reflection, emotion regulation, and movement with a focus on rebounding the mind and body from traumatic response.

Trauma Recovery Coaching is not therapy, counseling, advice giving, mental healthcare, or treatment for substance abuse or any addictive behavior. The coach is not functioning as a therapist or counselor, and coaching is not intended as a replacement for counseling, psychiatric interventions, treatment for mental illness, recovery from past trauma, professional medical advice, financial assistance, legal counsel, or other professional services.
