Trauma-Informed Educator Lab (TIEL)

Service Description

The TIEL Community Cohort welcomes both newcomers and those more seasoned in trauma informed practices. Applicants do not need to be teachers in classrooms nor work with youth. Each participant will gain crucial awareness and practical skills to enhance their instruction, foster supportive environments, and build strong rapport across settings. TIEL Community Cohort empowers educators to grow into advocates who are rooted in empathy, healing, and resilience for all. The format of this lab is 16 hours of in-person classroom learning along with 3 hours of studio practice incorporating trauma informed language and thought in movement.
